Children's Artwork Welcome

Crafts, Gilcee, and nude artwork will NOT be accepted

New This Year Painters, illustrators, and artists - sculptors, ceramicists, luthiers and other - this year at the Art Exhibit we will have a juried show with Cash Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place entries. Entry fee is $10 for up to three pieces and $20 up to 6 pieces. Children enter free. All work will be judged individually.

Delivery and Registration

All works should be brought to the Bridgewater Firehouse on Thursday, between 4:00 and 7:00 pm. No work will be accepted unless properly framed, matted, and ready to hang. Children's work must be matted but NOT FRAMED. The committee reserves the right of final selection since this is a family-type Fair, subject matter should be in good taste.

Sculpture, registration

All sculpture proposals must be sent to Briartspro@yahoo.com by Sunday, August 15. There is limited space for sculpture, so be sure to get your proposals in as soon as possible. We ask that you be tasteful in you choices of subject matter. If your sculptor is accepted, it should brought in between 4:00 and 7:00 pm.

First Prize: $500      Second Prize: $250       Third Prize: $100

Prizes for children under age 13

First Prize: $100      Second Prize: $50       Third Prize: $25

Security

The Fair Committee is not responsible for any theft or damage to works on exhibition. Note: Firehouse is securely locked at night and guards are on patrol. There will be persons in charge of the exhibit during Fair hours. Exhibitors may be required to sign a release in case of theft or damage.

Pick-up

No work may be removed before 5 pm Sunday. Any art not claimed by 7 pm will not be the responsibility of the Fire Department.
