PARADE

Kick off the weekend with the Annual Bridgewater Fair Parade - opening ceremonies begin at 6:30 and the parade starts at 6:45 Friday evening.
The parade features area Volunteer Fire Companies from Connecticut and New York, carrying their colors and displaying their newest trucks as well as antique fire equipment.
Marching bands, color guard, and many other attractions ring in the fair as they make their way down quaint Main Street in Bridgewater. Come early for a good spot.

About

There is a large variety of great food tents throughout the fairgrounds from our famous roast beef sandwiches, slowed cooked chicken, fresh buttery corn, tacos, ice cream, fried dough, BBQ, fried Oreos and many more.  All of the food at the Bridgewater Fair is prepared and cooked by our volunteer fireman and EMS members.

The Bridgewater Fair is the main source of income for the BVFD. We are the last self-sustaining Fire Department in the State of Connecticut.  We do not take tax revenue from the Town of Bridgewater to support our operations.  We own, maintain and run our apparatus, buildings and property including the fairgrounds.   We thank you for supporting us in this huge endeavor.
